How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store β not within the app itself.
Android (Google Play): Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bad Habits → Cancel subscription.
iOS (App Store): Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Bad Habits → Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
For full details, see our Account Deletion page. If you can't access the app, email alex@jbagency.ro with your account email and we'll handle it manually.
How do I export my data?
You can download your full check-in history as a CSV file at any time. Go to Profile → Export Data, choose your date range, and tap Export CSV. The file will be saved to your device.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? Enter the email address associated with your account and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
My circles aren't showing up. What should I check?
First, check your internet connection β the App requires an active connection to load circle data. Once connected, pull down on the screen to refresh. If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app. If circles still don't appear, contact us with your account email and we'll investigate.
Why was I charged after my free trial?
The 30-day free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. To avoid a charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends through your device's subscription settings (see "How do I cancel my subscription?" above). For billing disputes, contact alex@jbagency.ro.
My check-ins aren't syncing across devices.
Check-ins are synced to the server when you have an active internet connection. If you checked in while offline, the data will sync automatically when you reconnect. Make sure you're logged in with the same account on both devices. Pull to refresh after reconnecting.
How do I invite someone to a circle?
Open the Circle tab and tap Invite. You can share an invite link via any messaging app. When someone joins using your link, they'll appear in your circle. Circle members see each other's totals by category β never individual transactions.
Is my spending data private?
Your check-in details are private by default. If you join an accountability circle, other members can see your spending totals by category only β not individual transaction amounts or descriptions. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
The app is crashing or not loading.
Try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling from the app store (your data is stored in the cloud and will be restored when you log back in). If crashes continue, email alex@jbagency.ro with your device model, OS version, and a description of what triggers the crash.
